Sofiia Dubyna (2000) was born in Donetsk, Ukraine.
She spent most of her life in Kyiv.
The main aspects of painting are simple rules for Sophie, which instantly liberate an artist who cannot resist sexualizing the objects.
Rules:
1. The model should be more close in spirit than appropriate in appearance (attitude to life and also a certain physical closeness, even at some mediocre level, prevails over external data, and my personal admiration for specific features) is definitely an undeniable need. She began to notice an unpleasant tendency, which consists of an unwillingness to attach importance to a number of personal qualities of the model until she began to criticize and peer into her own attitude towards them during the work process i.e., indifference;
2. Imaginary or not surveillance of the model, integration into her personal life and partial appropriation with sufficient proximity seem to be a must in an attempt to capture a feeling of obsession in relation to the depicted object. That is to become a person close to this object, practically a relative, or to create such illusion;
3. The model must be unaware of her increased and deliberate fetishization until the work, as a kind of revelation, is completed;
4. Distortion of the personality of the model is necessary since it acts as an object and not a subject in any way, it is like a kind of toy of fate - soft and supple, ready to take any form, without losing the fundamental characteristics of the personality.
